How Scheduley works
Scheduley is your business’s front desk: a booking website, a smart calendar, and an AI that answers your calls and texts — all working off the same schedule. Here’s the whole thing in four steps. You don’t have to turn everything on at once — see ways to use Scheduley for the common setups, from add-on front desk to run-it-all.
01
Tell Scheduley about your business
Add your services, prices, durations, hours, and team under Business info. Everything else is built from this — your booking page, your website, and what your AI says on the phone.
02
Publish your booking page
One click in Online Booking and clients can book themselves into real openings — from your link, your Instagram bio, or your full Scheduley-built website. Day or night, any device.
03
Turn on your AI Front Desk
Get a phone number and the AI answers calls and texts in your business’s name — quoting your real prices, answering questions, and booking appointments live on the call.
04
Scheduley handles the follow-through
Confirmations and reminder texts go out automatically, reschedules are handled, and after the visit you can invite happy clients to leave a review. You just show up to the appointments.
Two modes, one platform
The first thing Scheduley asks is how your business works. Your answer shapes the entire experience:
- Appointments (salons, studios, clinics) — clients book services into time slots, your calendar shows appointments, and confirmations and reminders go out automatically. This is the default for most service businesses.
- Jobs & Field Service (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, landscaping) — callers describe problems instead of picking services, every booking becomes a job with statuses (Booked → Dispatched → In progress → Done), your calendar doubles as a dispatch board, clients get on-my-way texts, and you can text quotes and invoices right from the job. See Run a trade business on Scheduley.
You can change this any time in Settings → How your business works — it changes how things look and behave, never your data. See the settings walkthrough for details.
One calendar behind everything
Website bookings, phone calls, and texts all write to the same live calendar, and your booking rules — buffers, lead times, daily limits — apply everywhere. Your schedule stays accurate no matter how a client books.
