How to offer mobile services (you travel to clients)

Bring your business to your clients

Mobile services let clients book you at their home or office. Scheduley collects their address at booking, keeps your schedule realistic with travel time, and discloses your travel fee up front — on the booking page and on the phone.

Turn it on

Go to Settings → Booking Rules and switch on Mobile services (you travel to clients). Two options appear:

  • Service range — how many miles from your business you’re willing to travel. Bookings outside the range are politely declined automatically.
  • Travel fee — a flat fee for coming to the client. Clients see “We come to you — a $X travel fee applies” while booking, so there are no surprises.

Mark which services are mobile

Once mobile services are on, each service’s “Where it happens” setting gains an at-the-client’s-location option. Only services you mark as mobile ask for an address — everything else books as usual.

Travel time between visits

Give each mobile service a travel buffer — extra minutes reserved before and after the appointment so you’re not booked back-to-back across town. Your calendar and booking page respect it automatically.

Your AI handles it on the phone

When a caller books a mobile service, your AI Front Desk asks for their full address, mentions the travel fee before booking, and stays inside your service range. Toggle mobile services off and the AI stops offering them — instantly, no retraining needed.

“On my way” — one tap before you drive

Open any at-the-client appointment and tap On my way — the client instantly gets a text from your business number: “Good news — Maya from Glow Beauty is on the way for your appointment.” No more typing it from your personal phone between visits. Pair it with an arrival window (Settings → Booking Rules) so clients hear “between 2 and 3” instead of a minute you can’t promise from across town — and if a client calls to ask where you are, your AI agent tells them you’re on the way.

This is the same on-my-way text trade businesses get on dispatch — and no other beauty booking platform has it. Booksy, GlossGenius, StyleSeat, and Fresha all go silent on the day of the visit.
