Frequently asked questions
Do I need to connect a calendar to use Scheduley?
No. Scheduley comes with its own smart calendar that all bookings flow into. Connect Google or Apple Calendar if you want your appointments mirrored to the calendar you already use.
Can I change a Scheduley booking in Google Calendar?
Yes. For linked future bookings, changes to the date, start time, duration, or cancellation can sync back to Scheduley. Keep customer details, services, staff assignments, and payments in Scheduley. Paid or completed bookings and unsupported changes require review. Separate Google events block availability; they do not become customer bookings.
How quickly do calendar changes sync?
Scheduley sends booking changes to your connected calendar when you make them. Incoming Google and Apple calendar changes are checked approximately every 15 minutes. Google edits to linked bookings follow the same incoming schedule. Calendar subscriptions refresh on the receiving app’s schedule.
What happens if a Google edit conflicts with my schedule?
Scheduley keeps the existing booking and flags the change for review in Integrations. You can keep the Scheduley version or apply an eligible Google change after resolving the conflict. Google edits do not send an immediate reschedule or cancellation text to your client, so contact them directly about the change.
How do video appointments work?
When a client books a video appointment, Scheduley creates a Google Meet link automatically and includes it in their confirmation text. It works the same whether they booked online, by phone, or by text.
Can clients book straight from Instagram or Facebook?
Yes. Connect your accounts and the AI answers DMs in your business’s name, answering questions, quoting prices, and booking appointments into your real availability.
Do integrations cost extra?
No per-integration fees, ever. Every integration is included on your plan. Connect as many as you like.
